The Pactlyst Score Free
The Pactlyst Score is a 0–100 read on any agreement — how fair the terms look, how much risk they carry, and how the price compares. It’s a guide to help you understand what you’re signing, not a verdict, and not legal advice.
How balanced the obligations, fees, and penalties are between you and the other side.
The red flags, auto-renewals, and one-sided clauses found in the fine print.
How the cost compares with available market context — so overpriced deals stand out.
The Pactlyst Score is a reading aid, not a legal conclusion — it can’t tell you whether a clause would hold up in court. High-stakes decisions still deserve a lawyer.
A guide, not a verdict. Pactlyst explains agreements in plain language — it doesn’t replace a lawyer.

How it works
Every agreement in your life, translated into plain language and organized around one question: is this actually fair?
Snap a photo or upload any agreement. Pactlyst reads the fine print and explains what it really means — in words you already know.
Renew, renegotiate, or walk away? See the trade-offs of each choice side by side, so the decision is yours — and an informed one.
Get recommended next steps and stay on top of renewals, cancellation windows, and deadlines. Pactlyst keeps watch for you.
Each analysis carries a PactCheck Receipt™: a signed record of the document version reviewed, what was found, and when it happened. Anyone can verify it, free, forever. It proves the review happened and the record wasn’t altered — not that the document was safe to sign.
Speaks your language
Pick from 10 languages in Settings and everything follows — every screen, button, and heading, not just the analysis. Scan a contract in English and read the explanation in yours.
Every screen, button, and heading appears in the language you choose. The app feels like it was made for you — because it was.
Scan a document in one language and get the full explanation — red flags, Pactlyst Score, and next steps — in yours.
Change languages in Settings whenever you like. Your agreements, history, and reminders stay right where they are.
Full-app translation is in testing ahead of launch — like everything else here, it may change before release.
Why Pactlyst™
Other apps do one piece of this — a score here, a summary there. Pactlyst was built to do it all, in one scan:
Every claim cites the clause and section it came from — verify it yourself instead of taking our word for it.
Pactlyst drafts the push-back script and counter-language for risky clauses. Included with Pro.
Every fee, surcharge, and escalation pulled out and totaled into one true-cost picture.
Context on deposits, notice periods, and non-competes based on the home state you set — framed as questions to look into, not a verdict on what a court would enforce. General information, not legal advice.
Deep playbooks for the highest-pressure documents: leases, job offers, contractor agreements.
Key dates and deadlines extracted automatically — renewals, notice windows, auto-renewals — tracked in one place so nothing catches you off guard.
Scan a document in one language and use the entire app in yours — Pactlyst's full app and every analysis come in 10 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Korean, and Arabic.
Clear guidance plus questions worth asking a lawyer about your specific document.
Every flag measured against what's typical, so you know what's standard and what's an outlier.
Plain language at an 8th-grade reading level, with the key points up top.
The Business Deal Tracker ranks every obligation across every deal — so the most urgent thing is always on top. Included with Pro.
This is what’s coming. Pactlyst is in testing — features described here may change before launch.
Inside the app
Illustrative preview — the app is in testing and coming soon.
Point your camera or upload a PDF — Pactlyst turns complex language into clear, actionable insights, then keeps every agreement organized in one place.
No more walls of text. Every analysis opens with your verdict, then an "In this analysis" contents card — tap any section to jump straight to it. Long sections stay collapsed until you want them, and red always means risk.
All your contracts in one organized place, with key terms tracked and status at a glance — no more digging through email for the lease you signed two years ago.
For anyone closing a deal Pro

Line up 2–3 deals clause by clause and see the trade-offs in one view — so you can pick the better offer with confidence.
A simple 0–100 read on each deal's momentum, risk, and readiness — spot the deals drifting off track before they stall.
Every payment, milestone, and renewal across all your deals in one in-app money calendar — know exactly what's owed and when it's due.

FAQ
Not on the App Store yet — the app is in testing now on TestFlight, with a first group of outside testers already using it. Public launch will be waitlist-first: you’re on the list, and we’ll email you the moment your invite is ready.
No. Pactlyst explains documents in plain language and tells you when it's worth talking to a lawyer — it doesn't replace one.
Leases, job offers, freelance contracts, subscriptions, auto agreements, warranties, and more. If it's an agreement, Pactlyst can help you understand it.
Ten: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Korean, and Arabic. Pick your language in Settings and the entire app — every screen, button, and analysis — appears in it. Like everything else here, full-app translation is in testing ahead of launch.
Your agreements stay yours. They're private to your account and never sold. See the Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
Your agreements and their analyses stay on your iPhone — they aren't kept on our servers. The things your account syncs between devices — Ask chat history, watched agreements, and usage counters — live in the cloud. Signing out clears your account's synced data from that phone but leaves your account itself intact. Deleting your account is permanent: it erases your account and its synced data from our servers. Your agreements and analyses stay on your phone until you delete them there yourself — a full on-device wipe is implemented and in testing for the next app update. You can share a score card or text summary of any review from the app, so nothing you want to keep has to be trapped inside it.
Free covers the occasional need: one complete analysis every month, 3 agreements stored, red flags, and a deadline reminder. Plus is $11.99/month or $99.99/year; Pro is $24.99/month or $199.99/year. Prefer no subscription? A one-time review is $12.99 per agreement. Waitlist members will see final pricing before paying anything.
The Pactlyst Score evaluates fees, obligations, flexibility and unusual terms across your agreement, giving you a simple 0–100 read on how fair a deal looks overall. It provides general information — not a legal conclusion — so you can spot the good ones at a glance and dig into the ones that need a second look.
Launch-day access to Pactlyst on iPhone — scan any agreement, get a plain-language breakdown and a 0–100 score, before you sign. We’ll email you the moment it’s ready.
