These terms govern your use of the Pactlyst website and, when it launches, the Pactlyst app. By using the site, you agree to them.

Pactlyst is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Explanations, scores, flags, and suggested actions are general information to help you understand agreements in plain language. They are not a substitute for a licensed attorney. If a decision carries significant legal or financial consequences, talk to a lawyer.

The service

Pactlyst is currently in testing ahead of its public launch. This website describes the service and offers a waitlist for early access. Features, pricing, and availability described here may change before launch.

Waitlist & communications

Joining the waitlist means you agree to receive emails from Pactlyst about early access and launch updates. You can unsubscribe at any time — reply to any email or write to us as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the site or attempt to disrupt it.
  • Do not misrepresent Pactlyst's explanations as legal advice to others.
  • Do not scrape or copy site content at a scale that harms the service.

Plans, billing & refunds

When the app launches, paid plans are sold as in-app purchases through the App Store: Plus ($11.99/month or $99.99/year), Pro ($24.99/month or $199.99/year), and a one-time single-agreement review ($12.99). The free plan includes one complete analysis every month and storage for up to 3 agreements. All payments are processed by Apple as the merchant of record — we never see or store your card details. Manage, change, or cancel a subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings; refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its own policies.

If an analysis fails before it completes, we do not keep your credit for it: the review credit consumed by the failed attempt is refunded automatically. One-time review credits you purchase never expire. Monthly usage counters reset at the start of each calendar month.

Launch pricing is confirmed before you pay anything. If prices change after launch, this page is updated first.

Intellectual property

The Pactlyst name, logo, and site content belong to Pactlyst. You may not copy or reuse them without permission, except for normal personal browsing and sharing links to the site.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pactlyst is not liable for decisions you make based on information on this site, or for indirect or consequential damages. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site.

Changes

We may update these terms as Pactlyst develops. Material changes will be noted here with a new effective date, and continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
